A focused drafting step
01
Use a project, the completed-issues JQL starter, your own JQL, or a version when you need a release-specific view.
02
Generate a structured, customer-facing, summary-based draft grouped by issue type or label, then review and edit it before sharing.
03
Optionally refine the tone after a deterministic draft exists. AI is explicit, bounded, and never required.
Scrubbed sample
This example uses fictional data—not a real Jira export. The Markdown is editable before you share it.

03

04
Take the Markdown into the workflow you already use.
Fits your workflow
JQL is the main path when you want control over exactly which issues appear. Choose Version when it provides the clearest release boundary.
Jira Release Notes Lite does not publish release notes, keep a hosted changelog, schedule releases, or write back to Jira. It gives you a useful draft for the tools you already trust.
